Light #41

As a history major at UW-Madison, I have always been fascinated by the past, and more specifically, the stories of individuals who have lived before us. As someone who likes to study Jewish history, I have tried to learn as much as I can about individual Holocaust survivors and victims. Professors at UW-Madison, like Professor Bitzan have been instrumental in this learning path. That is why, my light is dedicated to him, and other educators who use their intelligence and skills to eloquently tell their students, and the public about not only the horrors of what happened, but the journeys of specific individuals as well.
